About Dr Brims

After growing up in Canberra, Dr Brims undertook speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Queensland and Sydney, completing her final year as a senior registrar at Canberra Hospital and gaining Fellowship to RANZCOG in 2010. Dr Brims has a special interest in infertility, obtaining her Master of Reproductive Medicine in 2012. She also has been accredited to provide IVF services through Genea since 2012.

After completing her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2010, Dr Brims continued to work at Canberra Hospital as a consultant ultimately becoming Deputy Clinical Director for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr Brims has been in private practice since 2012, with a focus on infertility and gynaecology. She is currently not practising obstetrics at this point in time.

Dr Brims also holds a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from JCU and has spent a rewarding year in 2006 working for Medicine Sans Frontier in Pakistan and Sierra Leone.

Dr Brims has admitting rights at Calvary John James private hospital and is an Approved person for hearing panels of the Medical Board of Australia. She is currently is on the board of examiners for RANZCOG, training new specialists in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Felicity is married, with a young son and daughter and 3 dogs and enjoys reading, knitting and skiing.
